My story
Throughout my life, I've been driven by curiosity. My professional journey began with an interest in technology, leading me to pursue a degree in Management Information Systems. As I explored the world of how computers and organizations worked, I realized the critical importance of understanding human interaction with these systems. This realization propelled me towards a master's degree in Human Factors, where I honed my skills studying the intricate dynamics between humans and technology.
My career path has been as diverse as my research interests, beginning with a tenure at Dynamic Research, Inc., where I studied automotive human factors. I immersed myself in the study of driver behavior and safety, contributing to advancements in vehicular design aimed at enhancing both performance and safety standards.
Transitioning to Bold Insight, I expanded my expertise into the area of medical device usability, while simultaneously exploring usability challenges across various domains from grocery to software applications. This multidisciplinary approach not only enriched my professional repertoire but also instilled in me a holistic understanding of human-centered design principles.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I've remained deeply committed to giving back to my community through involvement in various non-profit initiatives. From leading volunteers in Los Angeles to facilitating meaningful engagements in Chicago, I've embraced opportunities to lead and make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
Driven by an unwavering passion for research and a dedication to creating an impact, I am excited to continue my journey of exploration and innovation, contributing positively to both the field of human factors and the broader community.
